Using Textures
Here is a tutorial on using textures.
1. Open the image you want to use a texture on in PSP. For this tutorial, we will be using this one. If you want to follow along, you can right click and save this to your computer.
2. Open your texture in PSP. Graphic Addiction provides textures, and so do MANY other resource sites.
3. Right Click on the title bar of your texture then click COPY.
4. Now, right click on the IMAGE and click PASTE AS NEW LAYER.
5. Now, you know you dont want your texture to be so dark that it covers your image. So, what youre going to do, it right click on the textures layer properties.
Now, change the opacity properties to about 40. You can use whatever # you like, but I normally use 40.
6. It should look something like this.
7. Now, you can get creative, and add your picture frame, or brushes. I you would like, you an even erase the texture from around her face.
